MERITORIOUS SERVICE AWARD
This award is given annually
to recipients in the regions
who have made a significant
contribution to volleyball
at the local, national or
international level. This
award is named in honor of
Robert L. Lindsay, eighth
President of the USVBA
(1980-1984), “Frier” Award
winner, Legend in Volleyball
Award recipient and
long-time Referee-Emeritus,
who was instrumental in the
success of the National
Team-In-Residence Program,
which set a new standard for
all National Governing
Bodies (NGBs). USA
Volleyball's Robert L.
Lindsay Meritorious Service
Award recognizes individuals
for contributing outstanding
participation, motivation,
and other services in the
promotion of volleyball.
Every year the individual
Regions are asked to honor
up to six members who
deserve to be recognized for
Meritorious Service within
their own Region. Some of
the criteria are as follows:
• Active
participation and leadership
in volleyball during the
current season.
• Promotion
of volleyball and an active
role in major volleyball
programs or projects.
• In
recognition of those
individuals who have made a
significant contribution to
volleyball.

Note:
Those coaches that are coaching alone will have floating
assistant coaches this year to help them every few practices
to help enhance training for all of our girls!
We
would like to welcome back Julee James,
Andres Hurtado, Katie Seawright, Kari Kirkpatrick, Gladys
Adams, Lauren Viney, Claudia Taylor, Lacey Tapp, Misty Towles
and Emily James to
the Kaboom coaching staff for the upcoming season.
We
are also very happy to have Daniel
Romero joining the coaching staff this season!
Most
coaches offer private or group lessons as well.

Lesson Cost Guidelines:
Private lesson: $60 for an hour; $80 for 1 ˝ hours
Semi-private:
$40 ea for an hour; $55 for 1 ˝ hours
Group
of 3: $30 ea for an hour; $40 for 1 ˝ hours
Group
of 4: $25 ea for an hour; $35 for 1 ˝ hours
Group
of 5 or 6: $20 ea for an hour; $30 ea for 1 ˝ hours
(Coaches
can adjust prices for packages of multiple lessons or if gym
rental is more or less than usual - $30 during the day and $35
to $40 on weekends and in the evenings is normal rate for Kaboom.) |
