Club Kaboom Volleyball, Inc. is a small non-profit organization created to provide affordable training to prepare athletes for participation in USA Volleyball juniors' competitions and the pursuit of collegiate volleyball careers.  

Founded in 2005, Club Kaboom was started by Shafonia and Joseph Bolaņos.  Shafonia and Joseph are both avid players and volleyball enthusiasts (as you can see from a recent wedding photo), as well as coaches.  Shafonia and Joseph have both played for over 20 years and coached with different juniors' programs around the city and surrounding areas for a combined 20 years as well.  

Shafonia and Joseph both believe in motivating athletes to always try their very best and to strive for their absolute goals.  Having had many different obstacles to overcome in their childhood and adolescent years, they both feel that it is important for kids to learn to persevere and persist.  At Club Kaboom, the hope is that a child can learn more than just great volleyball skills - the hope is that each child might also learn a life lesson or two.  Both Shafonia and Joseph are supportive but stern coaches and intend to employee other coaches of the same discipline. 

Club Kaboom is the club for you if you are willing to give 110% each and every time you walk into the gym for practice and are willing to play your heart out each and every time you step on the court for a game!
