With
the generous support of people and businesses like you, we
will be able to continue to train and foster young female
athletes in preparation for participation in national amateur
volleyball competitions and to help them gain exposure to
scouts and coaches in hopes of obtaining a collegiate
scholarship.
Club
Kaboom Volleyball, Inc. is filing as a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization and as
such,
any contributions made to the club are tax deductible (the tax
deductions are
retro
active to the date that we filed even before we get our
official classification). Thus our members can solicit
donations from individuals, businesses and organizations in
their area to help support their club fees. Any donation made
in this manner will first be applied 100% to the
player’s
fees. Any excess over the player’s fees will be applied to
the club’s general
operating
fund or scholarships funds, as decided by the board of
directors of Club
Kaboom
Volleyball, Inc. We will of course provide a receipt for
your donation or sponsorship amount if needed.

club. In return for your sponsorship of $100 or more, we would be happy
to display your logo and a link to your business website for
the remainder of the season if you so

We are proud to announce that this is our 2nd year for the
official Kaboom Scholarship Program.
Although we helped several kids in the past before
inception of the program with their fees, we are happy to be able to now
sponsor a true scholarship program now.
Scholarship applications will be available here on the
website very soon. Scholarships will be awarded based on the following
criteria:

on why you want to be part of the Kaboom program and how
volleyball has influenced your life
We
are hoping to be able to issue approximately $10,000 in scholarship money this
season. The
scholarship money you receive will be applied directly to your
club fee account and you will be responsible for the remaining
fee. Shafonia will
coordinate an acceptable payment schedule for the remaining
fee.
We
will have three levels of scholarships this year:
Gold
level - award of $501 to full amount
Black
level - award of $251 to $500
White
level - award of $1 to $250
Awards
will be given on a first come, first serve basis according to
the above criteria and using a sliding scale for financial
need. ALL
SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL
FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK SKILLS
SESSIONS OR CAMPS THROUGHOUT THE SEASON AS WELL.
We
hope to give some kids that would not otherwise have the
chance to play club ball a great opportunity with this
scholarship program!
